How to make ginger water?

I suggest my patient to take ginger water, I often receive email and ask me for the instructions for how to make ginger water. I would like to share this instructions to everyone here.

 

How to make ginger water?

Wash raw ginger, peel it (if it's not organic) and slice it up.

 

From 25g to 150g of raw ginger cooking instructions:

Add 3 cups (600ml) of water, bring to boil and continue to boil until there is 1 cup (200ml) of liquid left.  Take a sip every 15 minutes.  Finish it in one day.

 

 

From 150g to 500g of raw ginger cooking instructions:

Add 5 cups (1000ml) of water, bring to boil and continue to boil until there is 1 cup (200ml)  or 2 cups (400ml) left.  Take a sip every 15 minutes.  Finish it in one day.

 

From 500g to 1000g of raw ginger cooking instructions:

Add 8 cups (1600ml) of water, bring to boil and continue to boil until there is 1 cup (200ml) or 2 cups (400ml) left.  Take a sip every 15 minutes.  Finish it in one day.

 

 

You can start with 25g raw ginger every day.  Wash it, peel it (if it's not organic) and slice it up.  Put 3 cups (600ml) of water with raw ginger into a pot, bring to boil and continue to boil until there is 1 cup (200ml) left.

 

 

If you find the taste of the ginger water is too strong for you, you can take 1 or 2 tsp or Tbsp out and add warm or hot water to dilute it enough to suit you.
